 Missing Kids: Karla, Fernando & Oscar Casanova found safe!
AMBER ALERTKarla, Fernando and Oscar were reported missing from Chicago, Illinois after authorities discovered their mother had been murdered inside of their home. During the process of the investigation it was determined the children were last seen at their school on April 18, 2008. They were picked up from their school on that day at approximately 2:30 p.m. by Benito Casanova. Casanova was described as a male family relative.An AMBER Alert was issued because authorities suspected Casanova in the murder of the mother of the children. Unfortunately, because so much time had elapsed since the children were last seen, the case grew cold rather quickly. Authorities determined Casanova had already crossed the border into Mexico with the children. According to the NCMEC, as of July 1, 2009 the children had been located safe. There is no information regarding the suspect.
